Summary + Results | I have had the wonderful experience of working with clients that are wanting to explore various design concepts and receive quantitate data through a/b testing, google analytics, user testing and other means. Many of these clients are doing this work leading up to a re-platform, website re-design or feature updates. As a UX designer, my involvement is in coming up with designs to test against their current websites or new designs for features to be added. I employ my knowledge of e-commerce best practices, and work with the optimization and analytics teams who then deploy tests on these designs. The results are analyzed and used in future re-designs in house, or given to the client for them to take away and work against. These projects are smaller than re-designs, but often times more creative and can yield some great insights that can be employed in design work with new and existing clients.
Client | The Real Real
Summary + Results | This was a new page design for TRR consignment landing page. The concept was to create a clear landing page with value props incentivizing the use of TRR consignment services. The goal was to make the process as simple and straightforward as possible to achieve high conversion rates on those interested in consigning to actually begin the process. This was the initial landing page design and thus was not tested against other design types, however the existence of this landing page did significantly improve the number of users consigning with TRR.
